To start I got this bike with a box of parts. I am putting the carb on and I am wondering where the two hoses that come off the top of the carb go to. Help please...

I think I have figured it out. The two tubes that come out of the top of the carb (not the fuel tube, it is seperate) come together with a T connector. Then the tube connects to the air box. Thanks for all the help though.

Sure. I adjusted the cam chain adjuster and the valves today. Seems to be running a lot better. The spark plug that was in the bike when I bought it was the wrong one. I bought a new NGK plug today thats right for it. It seems to have a little problem ideling though. It will idel fine for a few minutes and then idel down and almost stall. This happens mostly when it is warming up. I tried messing around with the idel screw and made it a little better. I took apart the carb and cleaned the float needle and screen. That was really dirty. I also cleaned the fuel filter. If you have any performace advice or any advice to it running better let me know. Thanks. Chad

on an sp4, the 2 pipes go to the 2 feeds from the fuel tap, run and res, and find the air screw on the carb, as you sit on the bike it should be on the left side of the carb, wind it all the way in then wind it out 1 3/4 turns. this should be approximatly right if you have a standard air box and exhaust on it.
