Well folks, just celebrated my 67th year on this wonderful planet of ours which means I've been riding bikes for, Oh my Gawd, 51 years and 10 days!!!!!!. Eh up them were the days, provisional licence at 16 and you could ride anything, and I mean anything, be it Bantam or Bonneville
I've decided that I really ought to give up riding bikes soon so I'm going to give it another 30 years and then make a decision.
Is this wise?

United Kingdom	Ok folks, thanks to your support I've decided that I'll give it just another 30 years then I'll have a re-think. You're right Gixxer about the roads and cameras but some of the Old Bill were right ba*^+rds and would nick you for no reason other than you were riding a motorcycle. As for the bikes some of them were really bad, rubbish handling, dire brakes and the ability to dump oil faster than the Exxon Valdiz. Now if I could have my modern bike back in the late 50s and early 60s that would be something else!! Ride safe folks and here's to the next 30 years! TLO -- I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
